WeAreGame Gear Up for SiGMA Asia iGaming Summit

After the monumental success of WeAreGame’s attendance at SiGMA Americas BiS in São Paulo, Brazil, we cannot wait to continue the excitement at one of the biggest international iGaming summits in Asia – SiGMA Asia 2023. 

WeAreGame will be on the second floor of SMX at booth G10-1; we can’t wait to make many new connections at the event. 

Asian Event Not to be Missed

SiGMA Asia is a vast event that unites B2B and B2C iGaming experts with land-based gaming and gambling companies, game providers, operators, affiliates, tech experts in the AI and Crypto industries, and more. Or, to put it another way, every branch of the iGaming industry tree is covered!

Thousands of attendees will be flying in worldwide to converge in Manila, the Philippines, from 19 – 22 July. Gathering in the biggest expo centre in Manila, the SMX Convention Center, the lavish event looks set to be a powerhouse of learning,   networking, and entertainment for all involved.

Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation

The thrilling event is supported and endorsed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). They are a government-owned corporation created and controlled under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines. Alejandro H. Tengco is the current chairperson.

PAGCOR have three main aims, the most crucial being (as given in their charter) to:

1. Regulate, operate, authorise and licence games of chance, games of cards and games of numbers, par­ticularly casino gaming in the Philippines;
2. Generate revenues for the Philippine government's socio-civic and national development programs; and
3. Help promote the Philippine tourism industry.
   

As well as working hard overseeing all things gaming in the country and trying to improve financial growth, PAGCOR ensures the Philippines' people benefit from iGaming and gambling success via their philanthropic CSR projects. 

The projects provide disaster relief, food, medicine and housing, build evacuation centres, support local athletes, provide financial assistance during the pandemic, and more.

Key Events

Guests begin to arrive on Wednesday the 19th for sporting fun with the C-Level SiGMA Golf International. The evening will then take a luxurious turn for the SiGMA Asia Awards, with 36 accolades up for grabs. It will also feature a charity auction, which will go towards SiGMA’s charity initiative – SiGMA Foundation.

Things continue with 183 sponsors and exhibits available to peruse, with industry-leading speakers on two different stages, giving valuable talks on a wide and varied range of iGaming topics.

SiGMA Pitch is the chance for startups to showcase their talent and ideas. 100+ entrepreneurs will vie for the prize of an equity investment up to the value of €500,000 and a host of other services and provisions to kick-start the business to the big time.

Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) 100 Spartans is an opportunity for 100 of the top affiliates from across the globe to travel to the event and meet with many influential people.

There will be four illustrious iGathering Dinners, with entertainment provided by a Centurion MMA Fight, followed by the closing party at The Green Room Bar, which runs until 5 am for those in little need of sleep! Check out the full schedule of events on the SiGMA World Asia Schedule page.
