Brazil Provisional Measures Anticipated Prior to Parliamentary Recess

Brazil’s annual recess of parliament will occur from the 18th of July until the 1st of August. Before the break, it is rumoured that the government should announce the provisional measures to regulate sports betting in the Latin American heartland

The provisional measures will solidify Brazil’s place in the iGaming world. The Brazilian Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, has spoken repeatedly about his support of the upcoming changes.

Peru Gaming Show Success for Win Systems

Jerico Gilabert, Sales Manager Gaming Peru for Win Systems, spoke with Yogonet last week about the company’s experience at the recent Peru Gaming Show. In the exclusive interview with Yogonet, he confirmed, "Our [Win Systems] experience at Peru Gaming Show was really enriching and successful.”

 He said, “The gaming industry in Peru has experienced significant growth in recent years, and it will surely continue to evolve and present interesting opportunities for companies in the sector.” 

Adding, “Fortunately, the pandemic is behind us and casinos are investing heavily to maintain player loyalty. In this context, providers must offer high-level technological innovation to meet these demands.”

AIEJA Welcomes Modernisation in Mexico

Mexican casino trade body, Aieja, has expressed pleasure regarding new proposals for the country. A press release on the body’s website stated, ‘Recognition of gaming as a healthy entertainment option for Mexican society over 21 years of age.’

The statement then adds that the move ‘Establishes legal security conditions for society, investors, businessmen and federal, state and municipal authorities. At the same time, it establishes clearer rules of what can and cannot be done in this matter.’ 

Several international casino operators in Mexico already have established entertainment and casino resorts, with more developments planned to bolster the country’s economy and tourism.

iGaming Metaverse Goes Live

A first-of-its-kind iGaming metaverse has opened up the exciting potential of the iGaming sector. BetConstruct, in collaboration with PandaMR, launched the immersive platform BCverse, to high acclaim.
