WA.Technology is set to make a splash at SBC Summit Rio with its full spectrum of cutting-edge iGaming solutions, designed specifically to empower operators looking to make their mark in Brazil.
With localisation, customisation and unmatched industry-leading technology taking centre stage, WA.Technology is ready to show operators how it is setting the standard for iGaming excellence in this fast-growing, dynamic market.
Speaking ahead of SBC Summit Rio, Games Magazine Brasil sat down with Wilder Brito, Director of Operations Brazil at WA.Technology, to discuss WA.Technology’s vision for Brazil, outlining how our platform is helping give our partners a competitive edge.
SBC Summit Rio is a fantastic opportunity to connect with clients, partners, and future customers. I'm particularly excited to showcase our new platform – a true game-changer for Brazilian brands. It's one of the first truly native platforms available and offers everything an operator needs to excel in Brazil.
Developed in collaboration with our European team and backed by extensive research and development, our platform is designed to empower operators to achieve maximum success in the Brazilian market. For example, its advanced CRM capabilities significantly increased conversion rates in our initial trials. We're currently testing it with selected Brazilian clients, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
As a Brazilian veteran, I'm confident this platform addresses the market's specific needs. WA.Technology is uniquely positioned to showcase its credentials as a leading provider at SBC Summit Rio. Our local team understands the market inside and out, and our expertise in localisation and customisation is unmatched.
Obtaining platform certification in Brazil was a major achievement for WA.Technology, representing a significant investment of time, dedication and resources. Brazil's regulatory landscape is stringent, as evidenced by the thorough licensing and regulatory requirements. Our dedicated Brazilian team works actively with our clients to foster a regulatory environment that protects players while facilitating ease of business. Few of our competitors can offer such a localised element to their service.
The market's early days have presented some challenges. KYC, particularly facial ID requirements, has introduced friction, impacting traffic. However, we're seeing positive signs of improvement. We anticipate that once these registration issues are resolved, we'll see increased brand loyalty and greater potential for operators to build long-term value with their customers.
We’re here to be the best and will be there to do plenty of business for our clients! Of course, the expectations will be massively different for foreign companies attending and looking to expand their network.
However, as a local company, we’re in touch with our clients daily. I have known the market for more than 15 years, and we’re already incredibly close to all the big brands we work with, so the event is a natural reunion for us.
Of course, that means the opportunity to be at an event like this is a great chance to see our people, check-in and catch up in a formal environment. Aside from that, however – it’s pretty much business as usual as we speak every day already!
It is a fact that the Brazilian market has surprised the world, not only because of its size but also because of the quality and potential of the operators that have emerged here. As a leader in this market, WA.Technology has always looked at driving iGaming excellence across the Brazilian market.
Proof of this is the massive investment made in local expertise and structure. We're constantly innovating and developing new features to enhance the player experience and drive operator success.
We have specialists in regulation, player behaviour, risk, performance, player acquisition, and retention, among other areas. We have set up a dedicated unit of people, a true intelligence centre, that gathers, processes, and analyses data from various sources—including regulators, operators, affiliates, and customers—to generate valuable insights and capture information. We transform the raw information into actionable technology, helping the company and its partners make informed decisions regarding compliance, player behaviour, risk management, performance, acquisition, and retention. Essentially, it functions as a data-driven hub that enhances strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Customisation and personalisation are crucial, and they are key differentiators for WA.Technology. While most platforms in iGaming are a commodity, our approach to Brazil sets us apart. We're not offering a white-label solution; we provide licensed operators with a tailored certified platform designed specifically for the Brazilian market. This allows licensed operators to give local players precisely the entertainment experience they desire.
We bridge the gap between platform capabilities and operator needs, providing the optimal environment, product, and level of localisation and personalisation required to be the best. Brazil is a massive market, and we offer a solution that stands out and empowers operators to become leading brands.
WA.Technology already has offices and specialists in several global locations across LatAm. We are ready to further consolidate ourselves in the Brazilian market and help our current and future clients expand their businesses even further. I personally believe that it is only a matter of time before many of our clients in Brazil achieve success in other LatAm markets, now with experience in the regulated market.
Our primary goal for 2025 is to solidify our position as the leading provider of gaming platforms in Brazil. This means delivering the best technology combined with unparalleled Brazilian customisation and localisation. We're focused on providing exceptional value to our clients, and by achieving this, all other benefits will follow. We have the best team, talent, and technology, and I'm confident that 2025 will be a pivotal year for WA.Technology!
