WA.Technology Strengthens Brazil Position as Pixbet Clears First Stage of Sports Betting Accreditation in Paraná

The Brazilian sports giants were successful at the first stage of Accreditation for Sports Betting in Paraná State, previously one of the first platforms to secure approval by Loterj in Rio.

Accreditation for Sports Betting Looks Promising

Pixbet is one of eight companies that applied for accreditation from Lottopar, The State of Paraná Lottery, created in 2021 via Law 20,945. Lottpar regulates the state’s lottery and is responsible for delegating lotteries and sports betting via its approval process. Recently, the Lottopar news site gave the names of the eight successful companies that have been successful at this initial stage of document verification. 

The Accreditation Public Notice means activities will commence in the next cycle for successful businesses, which consists of system verification to ensure platforms need the necessary system requirements. Achieving the Accreditation Notice is the first step towards authorising a Brazilian sports betting service. 

Pixbet has quickly risen to the top of its game in Brazil, with extensive services publicly available. Pixbet also sponsors over fifteen sports clubs in the country, including those in the top league – Série A. Their most significant sponsorship is with football giants Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
